Rosie’s Week in Review ~Aug 8~

*sniff* It’s our last Week in Review. Francis Lawrence tweeted “That’s a wrap on WFE!!!!!!” early on August 5th. You can read all the director’s last day of filming tweets HERE.

Lucky extra, Amber McDonald, with Robert Pattinson

Extras continued to share their Water for Elephants experiences. Read Kinker Tink’s interview with Eddie the Clown HERE. The Tall Man recounted his time on set and we met the adorable Jankowski children and their very pretty mommy! (Not Marlena. Their real mom 😉 )

Set Soldier Cheryl sent in photos of a scantily clad Robowski and his stunt double along with one of Kinko.  Set soldier Carrie shared lots of pictures. More pictures of a very happy Rob (#KillerSmile) leaving the set and a fan report HERE. Also check out fan stories from Heather, Hope and Rose.

Lucky fan, Jamie met Christoph. Read her story HERE.

The owner of the classic car used on set shared his story. Read it HERE. WFE fan Carmen shared great set pictures. (Love the gas pumps!) Check ’em out HERE. We got a sneak peek at Circus World Museum’s gorgeous wagons.

WFE love exploded all over twitter. Want to feel warm and fuzzy? Check out the WORLD’s love and anticipation for Water for Elephants right HERE!!

What just might be a picture of Daddy Robowski caused WFE fandemonium and a slew of Elvis Presley (the Younger) and James Dean comparisons!!

So that’s a wrap for Rosie’s Week in Review too! We’ve got lots of fun stuff planned to entertain you (and ourselves 😉 ) during post-production!!  Don’t forget to tweet #iloveWFE @H2OforElephants to be entered in a draw to win a copy of Water for Elephants from Algonquin Books. And be sure to check out all the tabs at the top of the page. We’re always updating!!! 🙂

  • i love Rosie’s Week in Review…its so organized….and im a sucker for kinker debb’s collages.

  • Wow. It felt like a really big week, but your recap reminded me just how big.

Thanks again to everyone for sharing your time, because without all of you, this ride would not be possible for someone like me. This movie is going to have a special place in my heart always.

Here’s to post production and beyond. I’m not going to let you redline me yet 😉

Is there going to be some sort of “archives” set up? I didn’t get in on the fun until Rob came to TN/GA. I’d like to start from the beginning, but I don’t want to do a lot back spacing and digging. Maybe a tab with locations links? Rosie’s Week in Review links? I’ve had a blast here the last couple of weeks, and I look forward to post-production stuff.

    • Welcome Melissa! The tabs at the top will give you cast, story, fan art and WFE extra experiences. Rosie’s Week in Reviews are a good place to start too. Scroll “Under the Bigtop” in the sidebar. Each weekly review has links to most of what happened. Have fun!!
