As many of you know, it is my job here to keep our limo nice and shiny. As I’ve grown more comfortable with that task (Eric is SO specific about how he wants his limo shined *rolls eyes*), I’ve also grown more comfortable with the look and feel of Cosmopolis, Eric Packer and Packer Capital. I thought it would be fun to explore graphical elements used in the book from time to time and play around with what our vision of Eric Packer could look like. Until official movie art is released and publicized, we can build a nice little image in our minds to have fun with!
Today I’m cracking open the first post of The Packer Portfolio Series: A look into Eric’s tightly guarded portfolio. Can you guys keep a secret? We probably shouldn’t be snooping for too long…
So let’s get started! First up, the Packer Capital Logo!
I played around with making a very corporate, simple logo. Packer Capital is a well-known, high profile, wealthy company. Therefore, their logo should look clean, smooth and professional.
I’ve also made a sample of what their business cards could look like. I used one of my favorite employees as an example. 😉
To help us visualize the Packer Capital logo, I’ve put together a few sample use cases. How about the corporate lobby? “Yes, I have a meeting with Mr. Packer, will you let him know I’m waiting?” (It’s a bowl, not a…oh never mind)
So tell me what you think? Can you see this as Eric’s corporate identity? Does it represent what Packer Capital does? Is it “New York” enough for you? I’d love to hear what you think and your ideas. What does Packer Capital look like to you?
Stay tuned for the next peek into The Packer Portfolio!
