Metric will collaborate with Howard Shore on the Cosmopolis score

Canadian indie rock band, Metric, posted on their website that they would be collaborating on the Cosmopolis score! Here is the excerpt:

Also, we just confirmed we will be working with our favorite film composer Howard Shore on the score for a new David Cronenberg movie starring Robert Pattinson, minus the vampires! It’s an adaptation of the book “Cosmopolis” by Don DeLillo, and the themes are right in tune with the overall mood of the world at the moment. In “Cosmopolis”, the rat has become a unit of currency!

This excited me! Metric has worked with Shore before on a previous Pattinson film, Twilight Saga Eclipse. Their song, All Yours, was featured in the film as well as produced for the score of the film.

How do you feel about the collaboration? Do you listen to Metric already? Let us know! 🙂

This is fantastic news – Shore and Metric again – carrying on the all things Toronto for this film. Now, do we think Shore could convince Cronenberg to maybe convince Pattinson to contribute music to this film ? Sure, does not fit his character in the film, but hay, why not try?
