Even worse than dubbed videos is the dubbed movie. All poetry, rhythm and cosmopolitan accents lost. Plus the movie is being shown in the multiplexes and not in the art houses which might have used the original version. The unwitting blockbuster fans around me were bored, restless, and finally angry and I don’t blame them. Thus both target audiences have been alienated. It’s as if the distributor were out to sabotage all concerned. And it looks like On the Road will suffer the same fate. Using the Twilight stars as bait and switch was a really bad idea.
