‘I Stripped Out A Lot Of The Action & Let Sing A Lot Of The Things That Were Important To Me’ ~ David Michod On ‘The Rover’

While in Cannes David Michod, Guy Pearce & Robert Pattinson spoke to Total Film Magazine.
David tells them how he didn’t want The Rover to be become a popcorn post-apocalyptic movie and how he stripped out the action so that the movie would be more brutal and more emotional.
And Guy and Rob talk about what it was like to shoot in the Australian desert and give us a bit more insight into their characters.

You can read the full interview in the scans below. The magazine will hit the shelves in the UK this Friday so make sure to grab a copy.
